Long established fish restaurant, this restaurant is situated on the pier overlooking the River Humber, try mid week when the special offers are available at very reasonable prices.
The Maitre de is very helpfully not just in his knowledge of the food but also in the wine selection.
The food is cooked and presented to a high standard, good selection of fish dishes available along with meat.
I had heard that it has a reputation of being expensive, my visit calmed those fears although at a weekend it is probably for a special occasion. -

The last time I went I was very disappointed with much of what we were served. This USED to be an excellent fish restaurant, and I've eaten a number of very good dinners there. This was not one of them, starting with the mussels, which were full of grit, it went downhill from there. Another on my "avoid" list now I'm afraid. To be fair they didn't charge for them, but on the other hand they also didn't seem to care...
